Sweaty Girl Summer is almost here… Time to rally!

I’m so glad Flex Bamboo Pads exist and have answered literally all of my dreams. They’re breathable and moisture wicking, so I don’t feel like my crotch is bathing in a puddle all day. When I tell you these are the most absorbent pads I’ve ever used!! I actually forget I’m on my period when I’m wearing them because the leak protection is that good.

It makes me sad when people think pads are gross, because they really don’t have to be. Flex Bamboo Pads are naturally odor fighting (thanks to their unique combo of bamboo and premium Japanese Sumitomo SAP), so I’ve actually found I feel mega fresh down there.

It’s all about prep!! First thing I do is make a pot roast so I have an easy iron & protein-rich meal on deck! Plus, it’s sooo easy lmk if you want the recipe!

Before & during my period I tryyy to cut back on caffeine & sugar bc they can increase cramps! But a little drink treat doesn’t count right??

I use a menstrual cycle tracking app (just the apple health one) to estimate when my period will be so I can try to plan around it! My period is drama tho bc I have PCOS so it’s sometimes a little late…

& finally, I’m learning how to slowww down & honor my body during my period! Cycle syncing plans & productivity before really helps so I can focus on self-care that week.

I’m kinda over tampons so I’m going to try a period disc from @flex !!! It has 12 hours of leak protection & is body-safe, non-toxic, + budget-friendly! I’ll let you know how it goes!!
